It never occurred to me before that Dean hadn’t seen his Mom on the ceiling. His Dad probably told him how she’d been killed but the reality had been left to his imagination. Then suddenly he runs into Sam’s room and for the first time, he’s able to see for real what he’d thought about all his life. And it’s even worse than he’d ever imagined.

The symbolism in Hide kills me.
Remember how the Doctor’s bow tie is red if the episode is in the future?
And it’s blue if it’s in the past?
Then in Hide, he doesn’t have it when he is in the pocket dimension?

Did you know? David Tennant’s final lines as the Tenth Doctor were improvised. It was originally meant to be a close up of his face as he resigned himself to regenerating, but just before they called cut, he said “I don’t want to go,” prompting the director to try a few more takes with the added line.
